The next bio update is planned for May 31st 2008 after the England v New Zealand 2nd Test.

Version 1.4 Now Available

Version 1.4 is now available here

As always this is a free upgrade for registered users.

We will sortly update the PocketGear and PalmSWC sites with the new version. If you have recently purchased TMC v1.3 from one of these sites you can upgrade to v1.4 for free by dowloading the upgrade and following directions provided in the zip file.

New features include:

  1. New 'roller' feature. Light or heavy roller may be applied to pitch as per ICC laws.
  2. League Most Valuable Player (MVP) Table. In league mode, all players are awarded performance points. The MVP Table ranks the top players.
  3. Fantasy competition: Human v Palm. Select 3 players each for your fantasy rosters at the start of each league. Points awarded based on total MVP scores.
  4. Look up stats during a match.
  5. Stats page 'filter'. Limit stats search to current league, series or date range.
  6. Stats page arrows (< >) for moving between multi-players e.g. for team stats.
  7. League page quick access button to view league team stats.
  8. Palm AI improvements: declarations, bowler selection, bowling aggression on final day.
  9. Bowler luck vector modified to use a probability histogram.
  10. Ability to view weather forecast when offered bad light.
  11. Draft improvements: (i) Filter Test teams by era and (ii) New AUTODRAFT feature.

The 4/26/2008 update to Player Bios for Cricket Library is now available here with the latest stats up to and including: India v South Africa 3rd Test, April 11-13 at Kanpur (Test Match #1873)

New Archive Expansion Team Pack Released

















An Archive Expansion Team Pack has been released here including the following 32 new teams:

  • Australia 1894, 1903, 1912, 1922, 1948
  • England 1894, 1903, 1912, 1922, 1948
  • India 1932, 1948, 1958
  • New Zealand 1932, 1948, 1958, 1965, 1973, 1995
  • Pakistan 1958
  • South Africa 1894, 1903, 1912, 1922, 1932, 1948, 1958, 1965
  • West Indies 1922, 1932, 1948, 1958

About the extra teams

The extra team archive download packs are all *.pdb files. To load a new archive:

  1. Download the file,
  2. Extract it with WinZip,
  3. HotSync the file to your device.
Note that every time you HotSync a new archive file, the existing archive will be overwritten on your device. If you want to keep any of the previous new archive teams, you should "multi-copy" them before HotSyncing a new archive. Go to EDIT TEAMS, then select NEW, then MULTI-COPY. However, because each archive contains the original (v1.0) 40 teams plus the new teams, there is no need to use multi-copy for any of the original 40 teams.
